Hanson was a business partner of Del, Marty and Bruce. He dragged his son, Hanson Jr., into the drug business as well. He and his son turned out to be one who stole Del's money. So that's why Del kills them both after Hanson Sr. confesses to Del that they stole the money. Hanson shot in the head by one of Del's henchmen.
